me Hello students and parents,

I am not a college student or high school teacher.  I am a serious professional mathematician.  I have bachelors, masters, and doctorate degrees in mathematics.  I've taught math at two universities and have been tutoring professionally for 15 years.  I have won awards for both teaching and research.

I've helped students of all abilities, from many different backgrounds and age groups.  I understand that students learn best when their unique skills and talents are utilized.  With my experience, I'll work with your learning style to meet your individual needs.

Students often don't get the most out of tutoring if it takes place in their own home. This is because homes contain distractions such as computers, telephones, pets, and family members.

For this reason, my tutoring sessions take place in public libraries and coffee shops around downtown Salt Lake City as well as at the math center at the University of Utah.

I'll work with you to find a location that best suits your needs.
